![]() Vancouver Beijing Chinese School ![]() The Vancouver Beijing Chinese School (VBCS), established in 1996, was founded by a group of scholars from Beijing. The VBCS is a non-profit teaching institution registered with the province of British Columbia. Our objectives are to promote multiculturalism and Chinese culture through language and culture teaching. People of all ages and different cultural backgrounds are welcome. Our team of Mandarin teachers has full professional qualifications including university degrees in Chinese literature or education, years of language teaching experience, and various teaching awards from China. The VBCS has systematic teaching curriculums with specific requirements in listening, reading, speaking and writing. In responding to the requirements of the Mandarin Provincial and Challenge Examinations, we place special emphasis on pinyin teaching.
