 Bo Zhi Chinese School 1. Bo Zhi is a community language school officially registered and funded by the Department of Education and Training. Currently we have classes from Kindy to Year 6. The textbook used is created by an education institution in China and caters for overseas students. All teachers are qualified and experienced. 2. Class time : Each Saturday of school term 2pm ¨C 4:30pm with a 30 minute break in between. Parents must pick up their kids on time. 3. Location : Campsie Cultural Centre. 4. School fee : $60 per term. Textbook : $10 per year (1 Textbook, 2 Workbooks, 3 exercise books) 5. New students will be tested by the teacher or principal before being allocated to a class most suited to their level. 6. At the beginning of each lesson, the students will be tested on what they learned in the last lesson. The result is recorded and kept as class mark. 7. Homework is given after each lesson. Parents are asked to supervise and ensure its completion. 8. At the last class of each term there will be a term test. A school report is issued every two terms. 9. The top three students of each class will be awarded prizes at the end of the year. Students who made big progresses might be allowed to skip a grade and granted fee exemption for one term. 10. Bo Zhi provides training in listening, speaking, reading and writing emphasizing an all-rounded development of the students. We always inform our students of the various competitions relating to Chinese language and help to enrol them. We believe these are valuable opportunities to challenge and test their language skills and to build confidence.
