![]() Bournemouth Chinese School The Bournemouth Chinese School was established in 2000 and registered as a charity in 2001. The Bournemouth Chinese School also helps Chinese children, who are born in England, recognize their culture and carry on in the future without losing their heritage. The School runs every Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, teaching Chinese languages in Mandarin and Cantonese. Children activities running after school include: Kung Fu, Art, Costumes, Dance, and Chinese children poems. These activities promote the Chinese heritage and Chinese culture awareness in communities. In 2004, we started a new management structure operated by Trustees, Volunteers & Parents, of which the parents help operate the food Department, Chinese library and Chinese Costumes in the school. We have both volunteers and teachers supporting our parents and providing help where needed. We continually recieve essential support through different funding from Educational Projects, independant fund raising, Grants and children workshops. Bournemouth Chinese School uses five Traditional Teaching Methods: 1. 德 - Personal Behaviour Development, 2. 智 - Intelligence, 3. 體 - Sports and Outdoor activities, 4. 群 - Socialising School life, 5. 美 - Developing in Artistic Skills.
