![]() Confucius Institute - University of Waterloo Credit Courses The University of Waterloo's undergraduate Chinese language credit courses offered through East Asian Studies at Renison University College were developed by the Confucius Institute. All qualified instructors are from Renison University College and Nanjing University, China. Study in China Summer Program This annual 6 week for credit program offers an exciting opportunity to explore the language, culture and society of the world's most populous nation. Learn and practice Chinese in a Mandarin-speaking environment. Through lectures, cultural excursions to important historical cities, and the experience of daily life, students gain a better understanding of the changing traditional values and challenges facing China in adapting to the new market economy.
