 Confucius Institute for Scotland - University of Edinburgh The Confucius Institute for Scotland offers weekday evening and Saturday morning classes in Chinese language (Mandarin) along with a varied programme of cultural classes, seminars, lectures and special events.
From September 2009 the Institute will offer Chinese 1 classes for beginners running Mon, Tues, Wed evenings, Wed afternoons and Saturday mornings. The number of opportunities to learn Mandarin have never been greater.
For those who need to progress more rapidly we offer twice weekly intensive classes for accelerated learning. More advanced students are served by weekly classes at higher levels while all are welcome to the informal Friday evening Chinese Conversation Corners that run during term time.
