The course will also help you to lay a good foundation for further study of Chinese.

Introduction to Chinese Language and Culture (2)
Course Description: Intorduction to Chinese Language and Culture (2) is a continuation of Intorduction to Chinese Language and Culture (1). The course is designed to learners with very limited knowledge of Chinese language who want to use basic Chinese in social activities, travel or business situation. Course contents include most commonly used vocabulary, everyday expressions, situational conversations and Chinese culture briefs. The course will also help you to lay a good foundation for further study of Chinese.

Elementary Business Chinese
Course Description: This course is designed for the learners with some knowledge of Chinese language who want to use Chinese in business and professional environments. The goal of the course is to focus on Chinese language used in the context of business activities. Emphasis is also placed on awareness of socio-cultural customs. The course will be a fun and memorable way to assist you in starting your successful business communications in Chinese.
Duration of the course: 12 weeks

Intermediate Business Chinese Course Description: This course is designed for the learners who have studied basic Chinese in a variety of settings and want to improve their Chinese language proficiency in business and professional environments. The course focuses on Chinese used in various contexts of business activities where adequate language skills are required. It also places emphasis on Chinese business culture and economic information. The course will provide a comprehensive and pleasant studying environment to help learners to improve their business Chinese communication skills.

Advanced Business Chinese
Course Description: This course is designed for the learners who have a reasonable knowledge of Chinese language at the intermediate level and want to improve their Chinese language proficiency in business and professional environments. The course covers many aspects of Chinese culture and etiquette and focuses on the appropriate use of Chinese for office and semi-formal situations.

Chinese Course for UoA staff (1-2pm Thursday lunch time)
Course Description: The course comprised of Chinese language and culture is specially designed for UoA staffs with little or no knowledge of Chinese. The course is taught by qualified Chinese language instructor to help learners to improve their knowledge of China and to be able to communicate in basic oral Mandarin.
