![]() Federation of Chinese Community of Canberra Inc (FCCCI) Chinese School As a community-based non-profit organization, Canberra FCCCI Chinese School started operating in 1994 and has now become one of the largest ethnic language schools in Canberra. It offers quality Chinese language programs to preschool and school-aged children. All of the teachers are native Chinese speakers, qualified and experienced in teaching Chinese to children. Funded by ACT government and supported by Chinese Embassy, the School is run by a group of volunteering community workers and parent representatives. The School always welcomes parents and anyone who is interested in helping promoting Chinese language to join in the School Committee. The school provides Chinese classes from Kindergarten to year 12. Students are aged from 4 to 18 years old. As demanded, from 2009, the school will run bilingual classes for local students from non-Chinese background families.
