 Han Language Centre, Singapore Since 1993, Han Language Centre has grown from a humble beginning to a well-established brand name in the Chinese education society, earning the trust of parents and students alike with its dedication. With 15 centres islandwide, Han is Singapore's largest group of Chinese Language Specialist. The Chinese Language is an exquisite form of art that is full of meaning and beauty. We deeply understand that in order for students to appreciate the Chinese Language, we have to first arouse their interest via specifically designed study materials and teaching methods. Han aims to develop our students with skills and agility in oral and written prowess, using a combination of comprehensive study materials and extremely well-qualified academic staff that adopts precise and stimulating methods. Our curriculum is modelled on the Singapore education syllabus and then fine-tuned to create a set of study materials that complement each level of studies. Step by step, we use precise methods to enrich our students' knowledge in areas that are lacking in school texts. Years of hard work and experience have allowed Han to develop rigorous quality assurance in the maintenance of high academic standards. Since its establishment, 8 students from the centre have won the Prime Minister Book Prize. Students from the center have been achieving 100% passes in PSLE (with more than 90% attaining A and A* ), as well as 100% passes in GCE 'O' level (with over 90% achieving A1 and A2). Han has also collaborated with schools and has organised various courses in 45 schools, including 4-year long-term courses, and short-term ones. Professional Mandarin Business Mandarin Our Business Mandarin course aims to enhance students?ability to understand basic business terms in Mandarin, which can provide them with the confidence to read, write and converse in a predominantly Mandarin-speaking business environment. This course is recommended for working professionals across all industries who are required to communicate with their Mandarin-speaking counterparts (e.g. in China and Taiwan) in the course of their business. Professional Mandarin Our specialised Professional Mandarin course is also available to cater to professionals in specific industries, such as Audit and Banking. Participants will grasp Chinese terminology that is unique to their industries, how to interpret frequently used reports, and prepare basic documents and letters that are needed in the course of their work. This course is highly recommended for incorporation into a company's regular staff training programme.
