Programs: Minor in Chinese Studies The minor in Chinese Studies consists of 15 credit hours of Chinese coursework calculated in one of the following manners. A minimum of six (6) hours in the minor must be taken in residence at Kennesaw State University. 1 If a student is required to take a Foreign Language 2002 class as part of his/her major program in the area of Lower Division Major Requirements (AREA F): CHNS 3200 - Reading CHNS 3302 – Practical Conversation CHNS 3303 – Composition FL 3309 - Survey of Chinese Literature and Culture, or SA 4490 or internships 2.
