Post Campus - Critical Language Program Critical Language Program This non-degree program includes instruction in languages such as Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Dutch, Modern Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Korean, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Serbo-Croatian, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Yiddish in a special tutorial program for a limited number of highly motivated undergraduate students. The program is essentially self-instructional, using effective text/technology courses in conjunction with a native speaker of the language who serves as a tutor. These courses cannot be used to make up foreign language entrance deficiencies or to fulfill Core requirements. Up to three years of instruction in Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 11 and 12 will be provided (3 credits for each course). These languages are useful for students who are planning specialized studies in the politics, economics, history, business administration, sociology and geography of the areas in which they are spoken.
