 Northeast Normal University - 东北师范大学 - Chinese Language Courses The Chinese language teaching center The teachers in the northeast Normal University were sent to Korea, Czech, Mongolia, France, and Vietnam etc. to teach Chinese as early as 1954. The university has accepted more than 120 Vietnam students to study Chinese at the beginning of 1960's. But in the period of the Cultural Revolution, the acceptation of the students from abroad was stopped in the halfway. After recruiting the students abroad in 1981, more than 3000 students from the United States, Japan, Korea, North Korea, Canada, France, Germany, Mongolia, Uzbek, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Mali, Kenya, Palestine, Zambia, Egypt, Yemen etc. more than 20 nations have studied here, there are more than 300 students from 15 nations to study the undergraduate courses and the language seminars. ¡¡¡¡ The school pays more attention to the education of the students from abroad, especially to the Chinese language teaching .Teaching organization of outward Chinese language teaching center which established in1987 was a unique Chinese language independence entity center in the high schools of the northeast three provinces at that time. Now there are 13 full-time teachers, among them there are 5 associate professors, 4 lecturers, 4 teaching assistants, and there are 10 Part-time teachers. (All of them are professors or associate professors)There are 13 full¡ªtime teachers and 3 part¡ªtime teachers gained the teacher qualification certificates of the outward Chinese teaching, 6 people in the full-time teachers leave for the country to Japan, Korea, Russia and Mauritius. Etc. to teach successfully. The school values international exchanges and cooperation very much, and has established the intercollegiate relationship successfully with 15 nations and 57 universities, among them there are 14 Korean universities, 11 Japanese universities , 4 Russian universities , 1 Mongolia universities. ¡¡¡¡ The school contains the exchange and cooperation of the Chinese language teaching with Korean and Japan universities, mainly in ¢Ù , both universities change students ¢Ú the credit hours would be useful in their own school if the students who studied in our university for one year ¢Ûthe credit hours would be useful if the students make use of the holiday to studies in our school for a relative short time. ¡¡¡¡ The teaching equipments in the outward Chinese language teaching center are perfect. Now there are students abroad appropriation classroom, language laboratory and the book reading room (several thousand kinds of books, magazines, newspapers) are provided for students abroad to read at any time.
