HSK/Chinese Bridge Program
The Chinese Proficiency Test, also known as HSK for the Chinese Pinyin "Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi," is China's National standardized test designed to assess the Chinese language proficiency of speakers whose first language is not Chinese. It has been enjoying great international prestige over the last ten years.
There are more than 100 HSK centers in about 30 different nations and regions worldwide. More than 400,000 people have already taken the HSK and the number increases greatly each year.
HSK is divided into three categories (Basic, Elementary-Intermediate and Advanced) with eleven levels. Chinese Proficiency Certificates are issued by the State Committee for the Chinese Proficiency Test and are generally recognized as authentic Chinese proficiency certificates all over the world.
Job seekers and students who have obtained the Chinese Proficiency Certificates are widely accepted on the international human resource markets as well as educational institutions.
The National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language also offers scholarship for studying in China on a short-term or long-term basis to foreign candidates with excellent HSK scores or potential.
